Coralee & Brendon
Hotwater Beach in the Coromandel provided the perfect setting for Coralee and Brendon’s beach wedding flowers
Hotwater Beach Florist
Orua Beach House perched high above the cliffs with outstanding views of Hot Water Beach, Coromandel provided the perfect setting for Coralee and Brendon’s beach wedding. Coralee wanted a relaxed feel with some beach vibes thrown in and gave me free rein to create something beautiful. Giving your florist total trust is an honour.
We styled two large cones with foliage, toitois and flowers for the ceremony area with the sea views behind to frame the bridal party high on the cliff edge. The misty rain added so much to the atmosphere…. Never worry if your special day is a rainy one.
Coralee and Brendon chose a colour theme of khaki green, ivory, soft peach and a pop of rusty gold. Her wildflower and garden rose bouquet was adorned with rusty golden velvet ribbons, peach silk ribbons and some magical tassels with the softest hint of green.
The sea views were stunning and we wanted to keep the feel of being at the beach inside the clear marquee so we picked truck loads of muehlenbeckia and dried hydrangeas and added pops of sandy coloured fresh flowers to adorn the tables.
The guys looked super stylish in their chosen colours and the pop of golden velvet to wrap their wildflower boutonnieres linked to the sand of Hot Water Beach.
Nature took the lead for this wedding, we just enhanced what we were lucky enough to work with.
